How Tinder Social Works
In essence, Tinder Social has less of a focus on dating and romance and rather functions as a way of getting groups of people together. The first thing is to make a group of Facebook friends on the app (naturally everyone has to have Tinder). You then pick what you as a group want to do (pub crawl, going to a concert, attending a full moon dance etc.) and start swiping. You’ll see other groups who want to do the same (or similar things). If both groups Like one another, then it’s a match and you can organise an outing.
In essence, this new feature is simply a new way of connecting with friends and planning a night out. According to the app’s CEO, it’s not just for single people looking to go out and get laid or find the love of their lives. It can be a great of injecting a bit of social ambition into groups of friends. There is also a group chat feature which allows everyone to participate, hence making the lines of communication open and easier.
