BeLinked is not actually affiliated with the professional social network. However, it does draw its information from LinkedIn and allows potential matches to view one another’s profiles in order to see if they’d be a match in this since. And naturally, you have to be employed in order to use this service. A professional resume is also a must!
No Unemployed People
The founder of BeLinked, Max Fischer, stated that they did not want anyone who was unemployed on the network. Non-professionals and jobless are strictly not allowed. The aim of the site is to give single professionals a place where they can meet one another… and if there is chemistry, they can also date one another. The “swipe” feature (similar) to Tinder is also used to determine which singles might be suitable. So you either swipe left or right.
Ultimately, the founders of the app want to ensure that a decent pool of dating material is available to single people. The more casual dating apps are for something else entirely. What they say about singles who are not employed is that, “if you are unemployed or ’between jobs’ you really shouldn’t be spending your time dating.”
